Welcome back to the Pursuit of Purpose podcast, guys. I am so happy to have you here. I'm like, I'm buzzing. I mean, I hope you can tell through the mic. I'm so excited. There's so much has been just been happening in the last 24 hours alone, but even just the last two weeks, I don't know if you've ever had this experience before where, or heard the kind of the saying that's like nothing's happening and then everything happens all at once.
That is very much the mode that I feel like. I've just been in, where it's just like nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing, and then a whole bunch of stuff just like domino effects, be it ideas and creative ideas or manifestations or just connections. It's been, it's been a trip, but that's kind of like one of those beautiful reminders I've had to reflect on this morning, that always have faith, always have faith that what you are working on, there is purpose behind it.
It's all accumulating and the best is yet to come. So I know that's really, really vague. So what the heck is. What the heck's been going on? Okay, manifestation side, like I'll do a really quick live update because I'm so excited and jazzed about the topic we have to get into today. But a couple things are just like, ping, ping, ping, come out of nowhere.
Lots of opportunity type of things, which some From completely left field would never anticipate, and I won't go into detail on those now because they're still very much just in the works, but The universe is blowing me away so there's that. The other thing It is just, ideas that are coming to mind a lot of ideas for how my business is going to change, like ideas for new projects that I'm really excited about, new ideas for how this podcast is going to pivot.
So spoiler alert, update, like there's a lot of changes that I'm going to be making that are really exciting changes, like good changes. And I think it's just going to bring new life and breathe new life into. The podcast and my work that I do within Purpose coaching and alignment space, like soul alignment and just everything.
So I'm very very excited I haven't felt Like this in a really long time, I think and I think when you start getting into to the creative kind of flow and the juices that start coming, it just all pours in. And Catherine Zankina from Manifestation Babe always said this, like, the better it gets, the better it gets, the better it gets.
And sometimes I think it's really easy to lose sight of that when stuff isn't going your way or manifesting in the time that you thought it would. But. Man, that is so, so key and the truth of all of it is like knowing and having that faith the whole time that Hey, the better it gets, the better it gets, the better it gets, like this or something better Like if, if this thing, you don't get or you lose that job or you lose the opportunity Well, it's not meant for you Like the next, the next thing that is meant for you, me, the thing that is right for me, the thing that is better For me, like that's coming.
So it's hard to have that faith sometimes but It's so true. It literally is so true. And now I'm getting into a mom preachy mode about this, but that's kind of like a very, very quick fast fire update on that side of things. The other thing that was so fun, I will explain this, that manifested, which I literally just did this afternoon and I'm still like.
Like just so bubbly in my seat about it is okay. Well, actually wait, let me roll back for a second I guess I'll just say this so huge life update I think I mentioned this many a time on the podcast before but sort of here and there about what I was Working towards and like building towards and always trying to do so update is that As of the end of May, or beginning of June, I guess, I will be moving back to Asia, which I was so excited about.
I lived over in Asia, in Singapore, when I was finishing university. I was doing my exchange over there. So I was in Asia for seven months. And between Singapore and a whole bunch of different other countries and I loved it. I mean like really challenging and eye opening as well in just terms of some places I traveled and the ways that it put me in my comfort zone, but I loved the experience and ever since I left I always knew like I didn't even know why or when or what the heck I would be doing that even would allow me to be over there and work For myself over there, I like did not know those details.
I just knew in my gut that you need to come back and you will come back. Like that is part of your soul journey is you, you have to do this thing. And that has guided me for the last six years through everything I've been doing, trying to figure out when that time period would be or in what way.
And like, how would those pieces knit together? Never forcing, never pushing, just sort of waiting and responding as my. And, you know, I have a lot of generator human design self does to that happening. And so that's what I've been just working towards in the last year and a half, probably of, building up the community on this podcast, starting my business, working on different projects, leaving my job.
And. The last linchpin was literally just like booking my flight, which I kept not doing. I kept waiting for, I don't even know what, like the perfect time, air quotes. Like there's no perfect time. And so I was having a conversation with a really good friend of mine who's my, my roommate's friend. And he, we were talking about going and you know, when I was going to leave and okay, did you book your flight yet?
And I was like, no, I still haven't. Maybe I should check how much. You know how much they are and I always was going to book this with points that I had had from credit cards and things that had I'd saved up because obviously it's a longer haul flight and I wanted to redeem it on That leg and so I was looking it up just for chits and giggles yesterday And I hadn't done this in a really long time and all the prices were generally like the same as what they were Any of the last times I looked it up So I wasn't really surprised by that and I have no certain date that I needed to go like I was just I don't know sometime in May that that's when I was ballparking because my brother's getting married in April And then I was gonna leave after that so I was looking at sometime in May and just bopping around dates and I always have had this like vision in my head of Wouldn't it be cool?
Wouldn't it be wouldn't it just be fun if I could use points, like the points I accumulate in my business or whatever, one day, and buy first class tickets somewhere. I just always thought that would be the neatest thing. And You know, I'm not, my vision board isn't filled with the most luxury and bougiest of things.
It's more experiential. I'm not that there's anything wrong with that. That's just like what my heart calls out to me is more experiential stuff rather than like designer stuff, luxury stuff, whatever. The one luxury experience that I will always have on there is. Flying first class, because I just think there's so, there's something about the energy of doing that.
I've seen it in my friends who have started flying that way. It just, it just oozes something else. Just something magical. I don't, I don't even know. And so anyways, I'm looking at all these like points, redemptions, dah, dah, dah, dah. And regular economy was like, I don't know, I'm, I'm just going to give a ballpark numbers right here, like 70, 000, for example.
And then most, most business class flights are like 300, 000 points, like. Most of them are all on that category and then I'm just clicking around and then on This one day at the end of March or March the end of May There is a one seat left one seat left business class category flight and it's Only 90, 000.
So it's 20, 000 more points than economy. And this is a 16 hour flight. Okay, guys, we're talking about from Vancouver to Singapore on one of the connections, like that is a long ass flight. I'm sorry. I. I'm not business class status yet as a person, but man, that's not fun sitting in an economy seat for 16 hours.
I think the longest flight I did was 13 to Guangzhou in China, and I wanted to off myself. So anyways, I was looking at this and I was like, how is this possible? And it also had the shortest, the shortest connections. So Most flights are all like 36 hours in duration total, including all your layovers.
