I mean, I'd say welcome to 2025, but with 30 gone instead of February. So I both can't fathom how quickly that whole month of January flew by. And also there's like a little part of me that kind of wish that last longer don't come for me for all those that you hate.

January. But I kind of, like, gone into a figurative bunker for the past, handful of weeks since the holidays. And I personally, I kind of love January. I know most people suffer through it, especially if you live somewhere that is cold or dark or any of the above. If you don't have a beach to, relieve your depression, your seasonal depression.

So I know that January is like something that people struggle with, but I kind of had to rethink on it this year because, at the very beginning of the year, I take this practice now that I learned from another one of my mentors, where I really just take that period to reflect and to rethink things and reset.

And part of it, I don't know, I just take a long time to do that because I really like reflecting and self analyzation to a detriment sometimes. And I really use January to, yeah, take a step back from things, go where am I proud of? You know, the things that I did throughout 2024 or just have not even what I did, but just how that year went?

What was I really hoping for that you know, I didn't manifest what on my vision board did. I mean, just all of the, all the reflection periods. And I kind of just wish it was like a week extra because now it's February and now I'm like, back. Like, I can't keep reflecting. It's time to, it's time to get on the horse.

So anyway, I am back here. I hope you guys had the best holiday time into January time. Sorry for any of you that suffered through January, and that was just a whole spiel of me going off on something that you hated. But we're in February and February is my favorite month. Why? One? I love winter and I'm back.

I'm back in the mountains! Yay! I've moved back to Canmore, which is this beautiful mountain town out in Alberta, in the Rockies, in Canada. And it's like my favorite place ever. I want to live and travel all over the world like one day in my life. I definitely want to just live here. If I was ever, like settling, this is where I would pick.

My view is gorgeous. I'm recording and I'm just looking at stunning mountain peaks with the sunset and it's a dream. So love it because I'm back here. I'm a winter girl again. Don't come for me. But winter girl at heart. Although it is freaking freezing here. For all those who do Celsius, it's like -25. So super fun.

But back to skiing, snowboarding, all the fun stuff, my friends. I'm just. I feel the best me when I'm here, so it's just been really lovely to be back. Spent the last month both at home. I was on vacation with my family. We're on a cruise and yeah, just kind of go go go go go. And now we're here.

And so February, we're back. It's my birthday month, which is both terrifying and exciting because drumroll, I am turning 30. I don't even know how that's possible. But for all of my 95 babies, this is the year of reckoning. We're all going to have to, like, have a party together, either celebrate or cry. I'm not really sure, but I don't know.

I'm I'm really stoked for what a new decade ushers in. I think 20 years is a whole roller coaster. I would call it chaos, but I think it's like the most beautiful kind of chaos. And I don't think that stops when you have a flip switch and, you know, you and I are in the third decade instead of the 20 decade.

I heard this in a TikTok, I think, somewhere, but someone was saying, like, you don't like birth. The zero is like kind of when you're 20. And so like when you're 20 years, 20 years old, you're like a bit like you're like a one year old adult. So if you're 30, you're just like a ten year, 11 year old adult.

So basically you're just a teenager and you're still figuring out your life. So I'm going to roll with that. That's like the equivalent of girl math but in age. And I'm just going to keep effing around a little bit. And walking through life and same as you all figuring it out as we go. Because honestly, that is what everybody is doing.

If you think that anyone has it together, they're just figuring it out just like you. So yeah, lots to be excited for. What I want to take you through. Oh, yeah. So part of what's got me spinning up this episode for you, and really, the thing that I wanted to kick off this year with was out of or the result of the think weekend that I did at the beginning of the year.

So I alluded to this at the beginning of this episode, but this is a practice that I have watched other mentors of mine. Do I really see the benefit for it? Because I think we're just always in a world where everything's vying for our attention, our family, our phones, our jobs or whatever. And in January, I think it's a really good time because everyone's still in kind of holiday slump mode, and it's just really easy to take a weekend, just one weekend, like two and a half days, I guess three days.

But just take that for myself to go somewhere, be alone and reflect on both the past year, and also think forward for what I want to see in the new year. And so yeah, I went through a bunch of these different, I guess, exercises and things that I have now done year over year. I can go through kind of the method that I do for that, if that's helpful for anybody.

And if you're wanting to do that. But, some of those things, like I mentioned, like looking at my own vision for what did I manifest, what did I not where could I see the biggest blocks that I had in the year? What are the goals or what do I want? Like if I envision the future, what do I actually want for, you know, the next year, five years, whatever it is, that's still the same as before?

Yeah. And it's just truly one of my favorite things to do. So I did that, and that was really great. And one of the most important exercises in this retreat, I'll call it that I do, is actually sitting down after doing my year in review, seeing all the places where, you know, highs and lows of everything. I actually look at the places where I need to let go of things that didn't serve me in the last year.

So these can be physical things for sure. They could be people, they could be environments, but they also can be habits, beliefs, ideas and or actions that no longer align with the person I'm working on becoming and the desires that I'm working on manifesting. And so it's really like a gut check of, okay, here's the things I mapped out that I really want to track towards in this next year.

Some of them are repeats from last year because, you know, I didn't have the manifest in the last year. Other things are brand new and are the things that I see, things that bubble up, things right. People, places, environments, habits, beliefs, ideas, actions. Are those things set up or setting me up to make those goals and manifestations come to be?
